So I just got an invite to use Google Voice. I got myself a number and gave it a test run. Works well and it’s a pretty cool concept but I don’t think it’s for me. I only have 1 phone number (my cellphone) …
… the point of Google Voice is to ring all your lines so that you are guaranteed to recieve the call … and that just doesn’t really suit me, my comforts, or my needs. But then again, I highly doubt their target audience was college students. It is definitely a neat concept though. And I like the fact that they are giving away free business cards to distribute your google voice number.
